Kumisolo
Kumi Okamoto, also known as Kumisolo, began her music career in Tokyo as a member of Crazy Curl. She later joined the Paris-based group The Konki Duet, with whom she released three albums. When she launched her solo career, her music took on a simple and pop style.
In 2008, she released her first solo album, My Love for You Is a Cheap Pop Song, and became active with live performances as well as online cover songs and original releases. Her second EP, La Femme Japonaise, features the song Ce Soir, which gained attention after being featured in the Netflix series Emily in Paris. Her third album, My Heart Is Doki Doki Forever, is scheduled for release in December 2025. Three pre-release singles are already available: Mon horizon, Triste Tropical and Bulle de Savon.
