Best of WdKA 2026
Join us for an evening celebrating the next generation of filmmakers and exploring what comes after film school.
We kick off with a selection of graduation films by the WdKA class of 2026 bringing together new voices, boundary-pushing forms, and bold approaches across fiction, documentary, hybrid and animation filmmaking.
After the screening, we’ll open up the conversation with a panel of professionals from across the Dutch film industry. We will discuss how emerging filmmakers can build their careers beyond school: from finding opportunities and developing a network to financing, visibility, talent development and navigating a rapidly changing industry.
Come discover new voices, meet the people shaping the film landscape, and join the conversation about what it takes to build a career in film today.
After the paneltalk, the evening ends with networking drinks, featuring themed tables where emerging filmmakers can connect directly with producers, fund representatives, festivals and talent development initiatives, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
