Tijdens FLAR komen film en muziek optimaal samen in het programma Watch That Sound: een workshop voor kinderen (12 – 16 jaar) die bij een korte Latijns-Amerikaanse film hun eigen soundtrack maken. Dit onder begeleiding van ervaren muzikanten en met originele muziekinstrumenten. Eigen instrumenten mogen worden meegenomen! Een prachtige kans om kennis te maken met zowel de Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek en film, als met de rol en betekenis van geluid in film. De verschillende resultaten worden na afloop getoond aan het publiek.
This is where film and music – more than anywhere else in the festival – come together: a workshop for children (age 12 – 16) where they create their own soundtrack on a Latin American short film. Under the guidance of professional musicians using original instruments. Own instruments can also be brought along!
