De gerenommeerde Nederlandse documentairemaker Pieter-Rim De Kroon (Hollands Licht) zal tijdens CJ aanwezig zijn om twee korte documentaires te introduceren die hij maakte in Japan. In 36 Views zien we het dramatische leven onder Mount Fuji, al jarenlang een inspiratiebron voor kunstenaars en filosofen. In A Day in the Life volgt De Kroon de Yamataka-familie, eigenaren van een kleine viszaak in de Suruga-baai. De beide films samen duren 74 minuten.
Highly acclaimed documentary filmmaker Pieter-Rim De Kroon (Hollands Licht) will be present at the festival to introduce two short films he made in Japan. In 36 Views, he examines the dramatic life at the foot of Mount Fuji, for ages an inspiration for artists and philosophers. In A Day in the Life, he observes the Yamatake family, owner of a small fish shop in the Suruga Bay. Both films together is 74 minutes.
