Achter de Kast
Als je achter de kast gaat, zweef je in een sprookjesbos. Een bos met mos op de grond, eekhoorntjes en lantaarnpalen. De ene keer sneeuwt het in het bos. De andere keer is het een beetje eng in het bos. Het is donker, de maan schijnt en de rode paddestoelen schieten uit de grond. Als je goed luistert, hoor je wolvengehuil. En de laatste keer… word je vrolijk in het bos.
When you go behind the wardrobe, you float through a fairytale forest. A forest with moss on the ground, squirrels and lampposts. Sometimes it snows in the forest. At other times, the forest is a little scary. It is dark, the moon is shining and red mushrooms spring from the ground. Listen carefully and you can hear wolves howling. And the last time… the forest makes you happy.
The Kiosk
Al jarenlang is de kiosk Olga’s huisje, want omdat ze zo dol is op snoepen, en een eentonig leven leidt, past ze niet meer door de deur naar buiten. Om wat afleiding te hebben leest ze reistijdschriften, en droomt ze van verre streken. Totdat een absurd incident het begin wordt van een reis.
For years now, the kiosk has been Olga’s little home simply because her sweet tooth and monotonous life has made her bigger than the exit. To distract herself, she reads travel magazines and dreams of being far away. An absurd incident starts the beginning of her journey.
The Apartment Cat
Prachtige korte film over een dag in het leven van een verveelde huiskat. Te dik, en verzand in een liefdeloos leven ontsnapt het dier om buiten op vogels te jagen. Een mooi gemaakte, diervriendelijke animatie die qua humor en ontroering te vergelijken is met het Gershwin- gedeelte in de film Fantasia 2000.
Beautiful short about a day in the life of a bored apartment cat. Overweight and without affection, it escapes in an attempt to run after birds outside. Beautifully artistic and humane, this short film is both touching and amusing in the exact same way as the Gershwin portion of Fantasia 2000.
Luce and the Rock
Luce leidt een gelukkig leven in een vredig dorpje samen met Mama en de dorpelingen. Elke dag is hetzelfde, en dat bevalt iedereen prima. Het enige waar Luce bang voor is, is de duisternis, maar gelukkig houden haar lichtstaafjes haar veilig. Op een dag verstoort een reusachtig Rotswezen het rustige leventje in het dorp. Hij verwoest alle huizen, en ook dat van Luce. Luce is heel boos en vastbesloten om wraak te nemen.
Luce lives a happy life in a peaceful little village, together with Mom and the Villagers. Every day is the same, and that’s the way everyone likes it. The only thing that scares Luce is the dark – but luckily her little lightsticks keep her safe. One day a giant Rock Creature disturbs the quiet life in the village. He destroys all the houses including Luce’s. Luce is angry and determined to take revenge!
