Game show host Eveline (Hadewych Minis) crosses paths with youngster Yousef (Shahine El-Hamus) when he steals her brand new video camera. Eveline decides to press charges against Yousef, but lies to the police that Yousef threatened her with a knife. This little white lie sets a chain reaction in motion.
Met Mes is the newest film from Dutch director Sam de Jong. De Jong started out with the colorful Prins (2015), a film he shot in Amsterdam-Noord. Prins made waves in the States and that led to Goldie (2020), wherein supermodel Slick Woods stars. For Met Mes De Jong returns to his trusted Amsterdam and bright color palette.
