Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia Selection
Net als voorgaande jaren presenteren we een selectie van korte films die op het Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Tokio gedraaid hebben. Alle korte films hebben op een of andere wijze te maken met jeugd in Japan en scheppen een beeld van de steeds veranderende realiteit in het land. Zo komt onder meer het (voor sommigen) doemscenario voorbij dat koffie in de toekomst illegaal zal zijn, en drinkers vervolging boven het hoofd hangt.
A selection of shorts presented by Tokyo’s Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia introducing some of the best of the new crop of shorts produced in Japan. All shorts are linked to youth in Japan and give some insights on the ever changing reality of Japan, including a possible future in which coffee becomes an illegal substance.
