Set amid the Dolomites is a stunning social and architectural experiment: a modernist holiday village specially created for employees of the oil and gas company Eni. The Austrian-Italian architect Edoardo Gellner, with help from Carlo Scarpa, designed this utopian paradise dedicated to recreation. Villaggio Eni is an account of the growth of recreation in the 1950s and the futurist ideas that it produced.
