Gaza, zomer 2024. Terwijl de oorlog voortduurt, probeert Free Gaza Circus een voorstelling te maken voor kinderen.
Tussen puinhopen, vrees en dagelijkse onzekerheid repeteren de artiesten, zoeken ze kostuums en bereiden ze zich voor op één nieuwe show. Niet omdat kunst alles kan oplossen, maar omdat een kind laten lachen soms al een vorm van verzet is.
Ahmed Al Danaf en Mai Saad filmen onsensationeel. Ze blijven dicht bij de mensen en tonen hoe kunst, zelfs in de donkerste omstandigheden, een manier kan zijn om mens te blijven.

Amid the destruction and daily violence, the troupe rehearses, organizes costumes and tries to lift the hearts of the youngest residents, even as the city crumbles around them.
A moving portrait of art as an act of resistance, One More Show follows its subjects with an intimate, observational camera that always puts human dignity over spectacle. The film had its world première at the Cairo International Film Festival 2025.
