De film Make Do With Now volgt vijf jonge Japanse architectenbureaus die alle op hun eigen wijze hun praktijk runnen. In TXL – Berlin Tegel Airport kijken we mee met het net afgestudeerde architectentrio dat in 1965 de prijsvraag won voor Berlin Tegel Airport en daarmee hun roem vestigden. Aan de hand van deze voorbeelden gaat moderator Catja Edens in gesprek met jonge Nederlandse architecten over de uitdagingen van de huidige architectuurpraktijk.
The film Make Do With Now follows five young Japanese architecture offices that all run their practice in their own way. In TXL – Berlin Tegel Airport we see how in 1965 a trio of recently graduated architecture students won the competition for Berlin Tegel Airport, immediately establishing their reputation. On the basis of these examples, moderator Catja Edens speaks with a panel of young architects about the challenges of their practice.
