Tufan werkt in een kleine drukkerij en woont met zijn vrouw Mukaddes en zijn dochter Simge in Eskişehir. Op een nacht krijgt zijn buurvrouw Huriye een hartaanval. De dokter vertelt hen dat Huriye voor een poosje thuis zorg nodig heeft, maar ze heeft geen familie in de buurt. Tufan wil haar niet alleen laten, dus hij besluit de zorg te geven die Huriye nodig heeft. Als gevolg van de angst en zorgen die hij ervaart, wordt zijn ‘goedheid’ op de proef gesteld.

The doctor tells them that she needs care at home for a while but she has no family around. Tufan doesn’t want her to live alone so he decides to give her the care that she needs. As a result of some of the fear and worries he experiences, Tufan’s “goodness” passes through tribulations.
