The Legend of the Stardust Brothers is een kleurrijke new-wave pop-musical, geïnspireerd door Phantom of the Paradise en The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Geregisseerd door de zoon van manga-grootmeester Tezuka Osamu, en met een cast van beroemde muzikanten (Ozaki Kiyohiko), manga-tekenaars (Monkey Punch – bekend van Lupin the 3rd) en regisseurs Kurosawa Kiyoshi (Journey to the Shore, Cure) en Yoshida Daihachi (The Kirishima Thing, The Scythian Lamb).
